Don't let your Mustang rust away...
The first thing people don't understand
about Mustang is rust is #1 enemy. The
floor pans are one of the first things
to rust, and being a unibody car means
major problems. When evaluating your
car or possible purchase be aware of
rust and body damamge. They can easily
be more expensive to fix then any other
single item. However, with many companies providing new metal dmg can easily be fixed.
So you've decided to redo your floorpans
Once you've decided or been forced to replace the floorpans here are some things to consider:

1)Under driver side floor panel is fuel
line. I would advice removing this before your start unless you like fires.
2)You'll most likely need floor pans if
it's time to side front or back sections! Do the job once and do it right.

a hanger for the emergency brake cable,

4)With floor pans means your going to
need a spot-weld cutter or miniature
hole saw to cut the welds in the seat
platform. Be aware that buying better
quality tool here will help a lot. The first one I bought broke the drill bit and the hole saw blades wore out after
3-4 welds were cut.
5)Take the new floor pans and lay them
out over the floor. Use force to push them down to get an idea of how they will fit in. Now either trace around them or paint around the edge, so you'll know more closely where to cut.
6) Now get your trusty spot weld cutter and remove the spot welds from the floor pan to front framerail and transmission crossmember.
7) Now about 1
